OUR STORY

Guitars have been a passion of mine for as long as I (Serge) can remember. The dream for Shelest Guitars began when I purchased a guitar kit for my dad’s birthday as a way to spend time together. We both fell in love with the process and an idea was born. Soon we were building custom guitars as more than just a hobby.

All custom guitars are built by hand by myself and my father, Mykola. We are passionate about the entire creative process and handle each step with intentionality and care.

Each element of a guitar affects the sound of the finished product. We enjoy choosing different woods and materials to create the highest quality and best sounding instruments possible. Of course, the look of a guitar is important, but we know that sound is what makes an instrument stand out from others. 

At the end of the day, Shelest Guitars exists to serve you and bring your vision to life. We highly value relationships and getting to work directly with our clients on such intricate and timeless projects.

  • Our custom design process is detailed and intentional. Your guitar will be finished in 4-5 months!

  • At Shelest Guitars, we specialize in acoustic guitars only. This allows us to hone our craft and continue to produce guitars of the highest quality possible!

  • Our focus is building custom-made guitars from scratch. We do not do repairs at this time.

  • Yes, shipping is available! We would love to work with you no matter where you are located.
